Applestorm was formed in 2002 providing bespoke software development to large London businesses. A short while later we identified a gap in the market for an IT company which could provide a better quality of service across a broader range of offerings. In 2004 we moved our base to Harpenden in Hertfordshire where we felt better able to open up our expertise to smaller and medium sized businesses across the Oxford to Cambridge arc.

More recently (July 2006) we have moved into new offices on the outskirts of Harpenden as we look forward to continued growth and fruitful relationships with our valued customers.

In a survey by Bluescreen, many small and medium sized businesses felt that, in their experience, IT service companies lacked essential knowledge and training. They further complained of slow response times and poor value for money. Applestorm aims to tackle each of these issues head-on and provide a solution to the usual 'take it or leave it' approach taken by some service providers in our industry. Standards which are often neglected, such as appropriate dress for client visits, are maintained in response to customer demands. We also aim to be flexible and respond appropriately to the needs of customers of all sizes whether a one person start-up or large multi-national.
